Notice: On Friday, June 9, 2023, the Beaver Dam Lake Management District will be spot treating small areas in Beaver Dam Lake for eradicating Eurasian Water Milfoil (EWM). ProcellaCOR herbicide will be used as it is very effective when dealing with small areas of EWM. It is applied at a dosage rate in the ppm (Parts per Billion) in comparison to other herbicides used for controlling EWM that are in the PPM (part per million) range. Informational signs will be placed at the boat landings and along the lakeshore properties adjacent to where the treatment will be applied. The locations of the treatment areas around the lake can be found on
the Lake District website at beaverdamlake.org Go to “About Our Lake”, then click on “Lake Protection”, then click on “Lake EWM Treatment Plan”. The whole approved plan is provided and look at pages 3 and 4 that show treatment locations.
